Testimonials:
"Little Star Preschool has been a blessing for our family. My daughter thrived in all aspects! She especially loved the crafts and songs. She constantly goes around singing nursery rhymes. Mrs. Banu's love for each child comes through in their work and her loving e-mail updates! You couldn't ask for a better pre-school, when you get a great learning environment and a loving teacher! You will definatley get both at Little Star!"
"I am very grateful for Banu Firth and her ability to teach my daughter Rebekah. While I as her parent have more time to spend with her I have noticed that she knows all of her letters, she can pick out words from some of the books she has read, and has quite a desire for us to continue to teach her. Thanks again Banu. "
-"Little Star Preschool and Mrs. Banu were so great for my son who is going into Kindergarten in the fall. He enjoyed going there so much and learned more than I could have thought possible. Mrs. Banu works so hard at teaching the kids a wide variety of things from nursery rhymes to ABC's to different types of art to prepare them for Kindergarten. I already have my 3 yr old enrolled for fall and can't wait to see how he progresses. Thanks so much Banu!"
"I am so pleased with my son's growth this year, both socially and intellectually. He has been exposed to art and music in addition to the three R's and is more than ready for kindergarten."
"For anyone thinking of signing your child up for the Little Star Preschool, It is a great place to enroll. Banu Firth did an excellent job with my daughter Jacelyn. Being the 5th child in our family we didn't work with her like the other kids and she had no previous preschool experience until she turned 4. She has learned so much in the year she was there and there was not a day that she didn't want to go. I liked the fact that it was a smaller class and I think they got more attention this way. Jacelyn's older sister attended a bigger preschool when she was younger, and there were several teaches and lots of kids. She was there for 2 years and probably learned about the same amount as Jacelyn in one year. They were always changing out teachers and some we didn't like and ended up dropping out because we didn't feel comfortable leaving her there anymore. Banu is always so kind and it makes a huge difference when the kids love her. Thank you Banu, and good luck. I know you'll be a huge success."
"I didn’t know if preschool was the right thing for my son Weston at three years old but it’s amazing how much he’s caught on and progressed throughout the year. He can sing me his ABC’s and count to 20 along with other nursery rhymes. I’ve also noticed his listening skills improving. Banu provides a comforting and fun environment that I think has been fabulous for my son. Westons brother is already signed up and so excited for next year!"

CLASSES OF 2008-09

My name is Banu M. Firth. I am half Turkish but was born and raised in the States. I have been interested in preschool age education since I was a preschooler myself. I love to participate as much as the kids do. I am a BYU alumni and have 6 years teaching experience.
Both my older girls are in the gifted and talented program. I have always believed that every child has the capability to be gifted and talented if the information is presented to them early and lovingly. I like to teach slightly above the norm so the child can reach for the stars...and catch them!! Every child I've taught has excelled beyond what even their own parents thought they could and that's because I believe our children have more in them than what our public education system thinks they are capable of.
I am the mother of 3, have recently moved to the area, and want to share my home with you and your child. Come visit me for more details of where your child can shine and gain confidence and self esteem as they prepare for Kindergarten.
